Delete your Prompt Shots account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Prompt Shots account and all data associated with it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile, name, email, and login credentials
  • Every prompt, pack and playfield you created
  • The "likes" and share history on your prompts
  • Active sessions and authentication tokens
  • Your active subscription, if you subscribed through website via Stripe

What we keep, and why

We retain a minimal, irreversibly-hashed audit record of the deletion event (a hash of your user id and email, the time, and the source) so we can prove the deletion happened if asked by a regulator. We also retain anonymized financial records as required by tax law (typically up to 7 years). None of these records can be used to identify you.

Option 1 — delete from inside the app

The fastest path is to delete your account from within Prompt Shots:

  1. Open Prompt Shots on your phone, or sign in on the web.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Scroll to Danger Zone (web) or tap Delete Account (mobile).
  4. Confirm with your password.

Option 2 — can't sign in? Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access your account, email support@booplogics.com from the email address associated with your account and include the subject line "Account deletion request." We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days. You'll receive a confirmation email when it's done.

If you have an app store subscription

Apple App Store and Google Play subscriptions are billed by the store, not by us, and only the store can cancel them. You must cancel your store subscription before deleting your account, otherwise you will continue to be billed even after your account is gone.

  • iOS: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → Prompt Shots → Cancel.
  • Android:Open Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Prompt Shots → Cancel.
